asking for password is not acceptable by SAP software functionality.
If connect internal command is issued on the OS user which is also the administrator of the Oracle then will not ask the password.
Do the oracle installation from the same admin login as you are...

You hv got a big query, an attempt to help maximum is :
1) I hv done an installation recently
of 46B IDES with Oracle 806 on Win2k.
Win2k was having the latest service pack.
2) SAP Creates the database during the install process.
But the Oracle S/w with a all environment settings...

is a very good resource, although it's not a usual text book kind of compilation - which takes a while to get acustomed to it.
But surely this is a very good and rich resource on SAP.
Resource consumption over a period of time can be seen in ST03.
ST03--> Detail Analysis Menu --> Statistic Record
The selection screen gives u a filter on user name.
Since the users are client specific so it's easy to differentiate the client specific workload unless u are using the same user...
if your system is slow and swap is not in use
then it could be the some process taking too much of the
cpu -- find the culprit progra by this command
"ps -ef -otty -opcpu -oargs"
and look for pcpu column for top processes in agrs column
and remember to ignore cpu idle process in agrs...
