    E-mail not reaching internal recipient

Have you checked any antivirus or firewall logs? Maybe the emails your expecting were stowed away due to content within the email. Just a thought

    Exchange 5.5 problems

Thanks PCFool, I think your right. I got it to work right by telling the IMC to forward outgoing mail to the correct mailserver, I also think the relay restrictions that I had put on to keep it from being an open relay also had some play in it. Problem fixed and I really appreciate your response.

    Exchange 5.5 problems

I hope this is simple. I have a client with an Exchange 5.5 server setup that had a static IP address that resolved to his companies URL (www.company.com) and acted as his mail server for all mail sent to that address. They changed the DNS, and the ISP is now hosting the mail, not the exchange...

    Unable to view network

That is good advice, as we were going back and forth my thought was that I had not tried a new nic to see if that narrows that problem. Thank you!

    Unable to view network

I have uninstalled ZoneAlarm, then put it back when the problem was not alleviated. There is also Ad Aware on this machine, I also removed it and then placed it back on for the same reason. I am trying to save a reload because of the complexity of the software loads and configuration.

Thanx George for that thread, I will look a little more closely at the user accounts and change to strong passwords to see if that curbs the number of emails being generated. Unfortunately I cannot apply the latter half of the thread as my client needs to recieve a lot of email that is...

Tons of IMS queued messages with no originator--spam?

to kastad, The que on this server is building because it cannot keep up with the number of spam emails being sent so it backlogs until it can get them sent out, at least that is what it seems. But these are SPAM emails for HGH Growth hormones as I can get to some of them in the imcdata\out...

Tons of IMS queued messages with no originator--spam?

I have this problem now and have found this thread for first time and have tried all the open relay items above with no abatement of the spam being sent from my clients exchange 5.5 server, service pack 4. An interesting note is that I can disconnect the system from the Internet (small office...
