    Painfully slow OSX startup

    Hi, You can try clearing your virtual memory files and other cached files(icons etc) on your machine using some sharewares like "Onyx" . I have tried it a couple of times and it has helped. Also try to restore your disk permissions. They might be corrupted making things too slow. Regards.

    thanks for the response. However, RAM does not seem to be the issue here since VPC is the only program running on my mac when i see the streaming. I have allocated 288 MB to the Windows 2K instance in VPC and in general it runs fine. I am thinking if there is some timeout setting in the network...
