I'm getting ready to install a XP pro box to a netware environment. It's been awhile and was wondering if any had any tips. If I remember correctly, I need to install CSNW. But, what about joining the domain etc... Any help or ideas would be greatly appreciated. Thanks Thanks for your responses!

    URLcache

I am trying to clean up and create some space on the drive that holds the user profiles. There is a directory called urlcache that is about a gig in size. It appears to have only internet images in it, much like a internet temp file. Can someone tell me if this can be deleted? Also, is there a...

I'm getting ready to install OWA on

I'm getting ready to install OWA on an existing 5.5 server. Does anyone have detailed instructions on the method to do so? When I insert the 5.5 disk and start the installation the instructions seem to indicate that I am uninstalling everything and installing OWA. I don't think this is correct...

    Content Filtering...

I use a product called Mail Marshall. It does content filtering as well as work with most virus protection programs (except Norton). Been pleased with the product as well as the support. Hope this helps. Thanks for your responses!

    Open relay in Exch 5.0

I'm pretty sure you can. It's been awhile since I used 5.0 but try going to the IMS properties page. I forget which tab its under but there should be a tab that has a check box to allow or not allow relaying. Don't check it, but go to the advanced button. There, check to allow relaying but don't...

    NT 4.0 server and XP

I am preparing to roll out XP in our company and have a printer issue. I can't get one of our printers to print and need to install a new driver for XP. My question is if I do so, how will this affect my win 98 clients. It doesn't seem like it should matter much, because the 98 clients driver is...

    XP graphics slow.

I recently upgraded from ME to XP and have noticed a difference in the speed of the pinball game. It is not as robust as before. I thought that maybe it needed to be set to 256 colors but that option does not exist since it is a part of XP. Maybe need new drivers? Any ideas would be appreciated.

    Need help with OWA

I started to do this but when I unchecked all boxes except OWA,it indicated that I would be removing the other items and only installing OWA. Maybe I didn't understand the language that M.S. used. Wouldn't be a first.

    Need help with OWA

I've inherited a system that at one point had OWA installed. For whatever reason they turned it off. I want to get it going again but am having problems. I re-started the www service and also the web page. When I try to get in to the mailboxes I get to ip address/exchange/logon.asp and then a...

    Policies

Use the System Policy editor to take away the ability for clients to use the floppy or CD drive. You may have to load the poledit file from the XP disk. If it is anything like 98 you will also have to edit the policy from the xp client.

    owa logon!

The file is there. That was the first thing I checked. Re-run sp4 for exchange? I have even considered reinstalling the owa component?

    owa logon!

I am trying to enable owa on exchange 5.5. I have IIS 4.0 and sp 4 also installed. When I enter http://ip address (or the servername)/exchange, I get a server error 500. The address that is in the browser bar when this happens is http://ip address/exchange/logon.asp. I can get to the web page...

Sort of stopped SPAM relay, but...

Seems that you are doing all you can with Exchange 5.5. I did the same thing with our server and catch a few daily also. We are going to go to a 3rd party software such as Mail Marshal for other reasons than this problem, but it will also give you more control over these kind of incidents. Have...
