Transient parse error
Thanks for the input, i was able to get rid of the error, by doing the following: created a service.switch file, and entered the following: hosts files aliases files This disabled dns resolution and removed the transient parse error, now i have another error that needs looking into - back to...- naqi76

Thanks, i'll check that out, i did a search on the forums and came accross a post that mentioned setting the following in the sendmail.cf file O ResolverOptions=-DNSRCH that dint seem to fix the problem. naqi- naqi76
