    This is a brand new computer, just got it set up last Thursday. Mouse is brand new MS optical mouse. No, not mistreating or dragging.

    I have checked the mouse properties, but there is nowhere to indicate Select vs Copy. I also checked the link and it said to make sure click lock was not checked. Mine is not. still have a problem though. marcquey

    Having a problem with selecting multiple files using the Ctrl key. After choosing a few files, it automatically makes copies of those files to the same directory, sometimes multiple copies of them. I ended up with a directory with about 7 copies of the files I had selected to copy elsewhere...
