There may be but it would probably be a lot easier to use a linux boot such as LILO or grub as they are a lot easier to configure. The RedHat install of linux automatically detects any windows installations and will set the boot up for you.
You don't really need the DNS Client running on the local workstations in order to resolve DNS requests. If you disable the DNS client, the workstation will just contact the DNS server for information for every request - this can slow the overall netwrok down if there is a lot of machines doing...
