Sure - you can Open a file for Input and then use the Inout command to read from the file line by line. Have a look at the example in the Access help file under the topic "Input # Statement"

You can use workflow to switch on and off different parts of a DTS. I use this technique when building complex DTS routines and I don't want to run part of a DTS that is already tested. If you are interested in this technique then let me know.

I think I may have answered this myself! I appended each data row with
+ CHAR(10 + CHAR(13)
and that did the trick. There may wel be a more elegant solution??
I need to use the Write File Transformation to write multiple rows to a series of files. The filenames need to come from data so it looked like this type of transformation would be good. Test data looks like:
