We are trying to get a PPTP VPN to a W2K VPN Server running using an II400 box in firewall/NAT mode only and it fails on authentication.
Our II400 config is this:

Thanks... made no difference. Since nobody seems to have an answer if the 2600 has to be '47 GRE' enabled in my pass-thru scenario, I think I'll bypass the II40 and go directly into a 2nd NIC on the VPN server just to make sure that it's not (somehow??) being blocked by the firewall.

We want to get rid of the Instanet box at the home site(s) if possible. Could we now just set up PPTP using RRAS and get rid of it... that way all could VPN in?
The Instanet 400, on the external NIC of the PDC, also does NAT to the outside world...
