If I recall correctly you can switch to the generic or standard IDE controller, reboot, and then run sysprep. In the past I used this along with the -pnp switch to enumerate all of the hardware. It adds about 5-10 minutes per clone, but it has worked for me.
Are you sure the IP address is not being used anywhere else? Does the IP address fall within the subnet mask? More than likely you are using a private IP so disclosing the information won't compromise anything, bt sanitize as needed. Can you give us a known working config from one of the servers...
Excuse me while I express myself...
I have experienced it before and I was trying to help an apparently difficult person. I guess there is only one error message in Ghost and if that is the case then there must also be only one version of Ghost as well. Why don't you try to enlighten us as to...
Without specifics on the error message I don't think anyone is going to be able to really help you out. I doubt this problem is specific to a 1650 but rather to the NIC. What is the "correct" driver that you downloaded? What model is the NIC? Can you post the sanitized(for your protection)...
I had the exact same problem. Hopefully, this points you in the correct direction. Under Network - Logon Accounts make sure there is a System Logon Account under description. Some how it got wiped out during the upgrade or never existed and 9.0 never complained. Restart all Backup Exec services...
Have you seen the How to resolve Common "Windows Installer" Problems page? They list 10 methods to fix WI.

Going back to your original error message, is the event logged? Can you provide that info?
A google search pulls up a ton of info on the error message and a error number will help narrow it down.
Just because you know something does not mean you can prove it.
My opinion is coming from a regulated background. Employees must sign a computer use agreement with spells out that they have no or limited privacy rights when using the company's equipment. It goes further to say that an...
It sounds like this admin's boss is trying to find an IT solution to a personnel problem he should be dealing with. A classic case of trying to avoid the real issue.
I don't think this is the case. If he needs to take administrative action he needs solid proof and not speculation.
If you have your own internal dns server you could add the wireless access point's ip address to the dns server's forwarders list. Or are you trying to go the other way? You can add static entries for dns and wins on the basic setup page of the router.
Do you have a tape drive available? If so you can use the switch -tapespeed=x
Any way for you to throttle back the network speed either on the card or at the switch/hub? My protocol.ini located on the boot disk inside the net folder has the following lines commented out:
; LinSpeed can be set...
I think this is a configuration error and not a corrupt file problem. I run a similar backup setup and more than likely it is the DNS setup or the server TCP/IP config that is flawed. Are you using 192.168.0.1 for a gateway on the server? Are you appending any DNS suffixes in your TCP/IP config...
How is everything physically connected? Are all computers connected to the router or are you sharing the connection from the server? What kind of DSL router are you using? Where is DNS running, on the server, on the router, or on both? Is DHCP running? On the router, server, or is everything...
