Pollux0, I'm same scenario, Internet --> Linux NAT --> local ftp w2k server.
recently trying to configure FTP but failed. And now trying your commands, ftp from win PC located at Internet, but failed, err: "ftp: connect: unknown error number".
I managed to ftp from Linux to w2k. But...
Ady, do u know how to configure as what you said? configure iptables to forward port 80 (www) to internal web server.

I'm guessing he wants to link up with VPN. With VPN, you can treat another computer as in local network. But if I'm not mistaken, VPN needs static public IP from your ISP.
I'm having the same problem. I can telnet localhost 25 internally, but external machine can't telnet. Checked that TCP is listening to 25. qmail is running. But I noticed that my MX record has nothing, not even one line. Could it be the problem cause?
