    I didn't map them using net use, I mapped them with Map Network drive in Network neighborhood. Is there a setting for that other than "reconnect at login"? I'll use "net use" if it will cure the problem.

    Since you've verified it's not a DNS problem is it possibly a port problem. Perhaps your TCP/IP port that the browser uses (110 I think) is blocked.

    On one of my Windows 2000 servers I am running low on space in the system partition. There is a lot of space being taken up by files in \Documents and Settings\Administrator\Temp. Is is safe to delete them? How can I safely free up some space there? Some of the files seem old.
