I try to reset with the command. The NIC is still unable to go up. When I use ifconfig -a to veiw the status of the interface, everthing seems to be OK. What is the problems that cause the NIC port down. Thanks.

I have my Ultra 60 connect to LAN. When I push out the 10/100Mbps RJ45 jacks and re-insert the jacks into the 3com LAN switch. The ethernet port is unable to go up. I have to reboot the machine in order for the system to recover. Is there any problems for my Untra 60. Thanks.
