Is the tape in the library? Has it been 'inventoried' to see if the tape exists? run the vmoprcmd command and see if there is a pending request action shown at the top of the report...or look at the device monitor in the admin console. Is there a tape drive 'DOWN'? Perhaps there isn't a...

Go to the Device Monitor in the admin console. You should see the pending tape mount request. Right click on the pending request and click on the 'resubmit'

Are you talking about sharing your NDMP tape drives with another NAS filer (using SSO)? I.E. Two NAS filers trying to backup to multiple tape drives at the same time? If so, I have no experience with that. My tape drives are direct connected to my NAS filer...not zoned through my fabric (yet).
