In my experience this type of thing is resolved by 1. cleaning the drive and 2. stopping and restarting all BackupExec services. We've found that a bum tape can also cause it. Hope it helps.

Did it work before you changed it? The result you're getting sounds similar to what you get on a W2000 machine when the Crystal DLL's are not in the logged-on user's profile. This can be fixed by copying the \Winnt\Crystal folder to \Documents and settings\#user#\Windows. Hope this helps.

I'm still new to all this, but as far as I know you need to grant all Accpac users full access rights to the folders (both for the program and the data) they use on the server.
