    IE 6 keeps closing with sock5h32.dll error

    I had the same problem this morning. After looking for some info on this I remembered that I installed a new modem and did not configured it for the RAS. After configuring it my Internet Explorer started to work. I no more having that event id 1000 error in my event viewer. I hope this helps...
