    I just went back in to WDWS/Fonts and reduced the number/font types exactly to what they were before and all is well. Now my next question is how do you or can you add fonts for PhotoShop?

    I'm having the same problem . I loaded up fonts in the Windows/Font folder and all works well with Acrobat/IE6/Word etc. When I load up PS7 it runs right up till it hits the loading of the fonts then says there's an error on the disc or the software and that's it. I followed your instructions...
