Yes, many people have SSO working with AD and ReportNet. Settings for the AD provider use the kerberos protocol and thus have a set of requirements to work. Call Support for this list.

This is probably because IIS is not returning the required information. This was actually logged with MS and as of yet, they have still no identified why this is occurring. There is a setting you can put in to just pull the REMOTE_USER variable and bypass Kerberos authentication altogether...

You have to extend the schema first through Configuration Manager. Make sure that the user that you are using to extend the schema is part of the group that owns the schema (typically Schema Admins). Also, the schema must be extended on the master schema server and not a child domain.

Right click on the virtual directory in IIS and go to the directory security tab. Make sure that JUST 'Integrated Windows Authentication' is selected. This will set the REMOTE_USER variable and allow for seamless sign on.
