    How to make NT 4 server & Win98 see each other?

    First of all, what do you mean by cross-over cable? Are you using standard RJ45 connectors on CAT5 cable? If the cable is okay and the drivers for the cards are loaded up fine then you should be able to ping each IP address. I hope this helps...

    QNC.EXE

    QNC is Lotus' version of Dr.Watsons for NT. You can disable it by going to a DOS prompt going into the Lotus directory and typing: qnc-u That'll disable it for you.....

    How to switch

    All you need to do is to replicate the accounts from the PDC to the other workgroup servers. Setup the 2 workgroup servers as BDCs and then user manager and setup replication between the domain controllers. That should sort it out for you...

    If you are connecting to the destination before it gives you this message then it sounds like you may need disable/enable dialback to suit your needs. I don't know if this is any help...
