Running exchange server 2003 SP1 on SBS server 2003 SP1. Outgoing email and in company email shows correct time. When an email comes in from an outsite source, it is an hour slow on the time. The time on the server is correct. Where can I fix this at?
Thanks
Clint

In the wake of the MSBlaster, a lot of the cable and DSL providers have closed port 135. Is there a way I can make outlook and my exchange server talk for my remote clients on other ports?
Thanks
clint
I thought about that, but what has stopped me from calling them is the fact that they cant even connect anymore when they VPN in and then open up Outlook. These problems all started around the time I applied the patch for the MS blast....
Thanks

This HAS to be related to this update from MS. I installed the patch on my Exchange 5.5 server and now my remote clients cannot connect using outlook. The LMHOSTS file is all correct, everything worked until I applied the patch. I uninstalled it and no change. Should I re apply Exchange SP 3 and...
I guess the biggest problem/question I have with all this is why did it work before when I didnt have any of this stuff running? I changed ISP's once before and everything worked fine! I am running another exchange server onsite, should I migrate everyone over to it and make it the primary...

2. Using Proxy
3. Exchange is on same server as proxy, so yes it has two nic cards
4. Changed ISPs-Changed outside NIC IP address
5. Yes they updated them
6. Not a cached copy
7. Yes, but I changed it back to the same server and it worked fine as well. I...
In my original post it says OWA works fine, but I didnt say, which I should of, they are using MAPI. NOthing has changed on the proxy server, which is the same server that Exchange is on, and it worked fine before, so I would not think I have to go change something specific on the proxy...
This thread ties directly into the one I posted and is right below......After just changing the IP addy of the server and the ISP we CANT get to our exchange server from outside the network....ideas?
this is very strange. I did that, and here is what I get.
C:\Documents and Settings\cmeddy>nbtstat -RR
The NetBIOS names registered by this computer have been refreshed.
C:\Documents and Settings\cmeddy>nbtstat -c
acs:
Node IpAddress: [12.172.97.168] Scope Id: []
No names in cache...
I set up my hosts file as well. If I set up the lmhost file I dont get a response when I ping the netbios name, just an unknown. Am I setting up the lmhost file wrong?? It looks like it should be as simple as the host file..

I changed ISP's last week. Everything went well, except now my remote clients cannot access the Exchange server w/ Outlook. They can access the OWA, but get a "Your Microsoft Exchange Server is Unavailable" every time they try and use Outlook. I have checked everything from DNS to...
