    dual boot w2k/win98se

    i wish to create a dual boot. i have created 2 partitions, one for each os. will this work? can "c:\" contain win98 and "d:\" contain w2k? can i format d: to ntfs for w2k? (while c: is fat32) any other important info available, please post. thanks to all!!

    Thank You all for the posts!!!! I have just LLF, partitioned, and formated the HD, again (FAT32). Next, should i have all hardware installed into the computer (modem, ethernet,...) before install? Should I partition the HD into sections? I did 1 partition for full 80g. and set the DMA to mode 4...

    trying to do a clean install of win 2kpro. continue to get ntoskrnl.exe is corrupted or missing (no error code). the system has yet to get the start of win2k. installing on a 80g maxtor. i have tried to use the recovery, only to find out that it gives same error. using Intel pIII cpu asus...
