Is there any way to not enter a start and finish date for a task? I am looking to put in an upcoming task with its duration, start, and end date as TBD. I want the task name to be visible, but the start and end dates to be blank. Let me know, and thanks in advance.

Thanks johnherman, that was helpful. We have a quarter end review within this project which is a significant event for us, and as it turns out, the project stretches over a full year, creating four significant events with the same heading. I hope that clears up the recurring milestone question.
Is there any way to create a line on the Tracking Gantt chart that has multiple milestones on it?
For example, the same milestone recurring every three months on the same line.
Thanks in advance.
Hi everyone,
I was wondering if anyone knew how to link 3 or 4 different drop down menus. What I mean is that in the first menu you have a choice between 3 items (item1 item2 item3). Then, depending on the selection the user made there would be different choices in the second menu. If you...
That looks like it will work, but I'm not too good at SQL, so I don't know where to put something like that. Here is my SQL code for one of the queries:
SELECT [Partgroup List].Prod_ID, [March 2003 Capital Cabs].EXTENDED_COST, [April 2003 Capital Cabs].EXTENDED_COST
FROM ([Partgroup List] LEFT...
I have a simple query which runs two tables against one master table. When the query is done running, there are some blanks spaces in the resulting table. Is there any way to get these blank spaces to equal "0"? Thanks in advance for the help.
I've figure out how to export my report automatically and save it as the date (ie 5-9-2003.xls) but I'm not really sure how to go about collecting all of there excel files in order to compare them. Any help or thoughts would be appreciated.
Dennis
Nice, that worked great. I think the date format that I was using was giving me errors because of the "/"'s in the name. Anyways, thanks again.

I am trying to output a report that I have automatically to a folder in a snapshot form. I am trying to get this file to save as the date, but with my current code it saves as "=date().snp" instead of "5/8/2003.snp" Here is my code:
DoCmd.OutputTo acOutputReport, "NAS...
I have recently made a report in my database which keeps track of inventory in my company. The data is coming from a large network and is filtered down to a table using one main query. What I need to do is to keep a daily record of this report in order to do an I/O (in and out) report. So...
Hey all,
I made a pie graph in a pivot chart form in Access 2002. There are about 10 categories in the graph, and I displayed the percent for each of them by using the data labels tab. Since there are so many categories, the labels are cluttered within the graph. Is there any way to move the...
yeah, Randy and dvannoy, i ended up making a data dump table with the make table function. Thanks so much for your help, now I'm printing out the full report in about 4 and a half minutes.

I guess I dont understand this, because I only have 1 query running right now, so I can't link it to another one. All the reports run off of the exact same query, but the reports have different layouts. I just tried to run a smaller query off of the larger one but that didnt work. Either I...
Hey Randy,
Thanks for the response, I tried it out, but the query still runs for each report, is there any way for the form to run the query once, then use that information on all 7 reports?
Thanks,
Dennis
I have a query which takes about 5 minutes to run. I use this query to run 7 different reports which I want to link together. When I put them all into one report, it takes like 40 minutes for the main report to run. Is there any way I can put all of the reports into one main report and have the...
