Not really. i suppose you could use a tone-dial generator that companies use to train their phone people, but i think it would be too much effort. if all you're after is a serial link, get a crossover serial cable. Startup weirdness - crashes when not logged, boots when logged?
okay, this one has me scratching my head. When i boot win98 (first edition) it gets about 3/4 of the way through the bootup process then throws a "windows protection error. you must restart your computer" at me. the only funky thing is, when i press restart and boot it while logging...- Siridar

um, not quite what i was after... y`see, i'd like my users to be able to use the same form for both browsing, searching, and printing the record. (simplicity, natch) - when i`m working on it and i run the form, i can simply click filter-apply filter after setting up the conditions and it works...- Siridar
