Found out the problem myself. The vpn was assigning an IP to the client that already existed on the LAN. Dup IP, BAD thing. So I set the IP range to allocate from 10.0.0.0 to 10.0.0.10. To do this, goto to the 'Incoming Connections' properties Networking tab then select then TCP/IP protocol...
