Read only files in Word 2000
I checked with the client the end of last week and either she's too flustered/given up to notice...or a change I made may have worked.....As I mentioned both client and server were running NAVCE 7.6. I adjusted the realtime scan to scan only at file creation--not every little touch of the file...- jeiband

The server is running Windows 2k Small Business Server that had SP3 but not all the updates until last Thursday--it is now and of course was rebooted....I have not heard from the client since then so I won't know until today if there was any improvement.
