I have been running a tiny home network with BEFW11S4 and a WPC11 in my laptop with no problems what so ever. Cable modem to BEFW11S4 and port4 to PC.
Now I want to have the end result of connecting to a Linksys USB200M plugged into my TiVo HR10-250 with the usb port enabled. I've been told...

Hello
Here is the current problem.
The other day we shutdown the PC the normal way and then noticed we heard an intermittent fan type noise. When I got closer you could tell that the fan would run for 5 seconds and then stop then maybe a minute later it would do it again. After several days of...

I have just one hard drive that was physically changed and replaced with a new hd. The one hd is partitioned into a C drive and D drive (8 gigs and 2 gigs respectivly). Prior to the switch the factory installed cd-rom drive was drive E and the Iomega CD Burner drive which I had installed was...

Can the HomePortal 100 series or the Linksys BEFSR41 allow a Mac & Windows PC to share a dsl connection only? No other files need to be shared. I already have an external dsl modem, so my only interest is being able to share the internet connection. Would I need any connectors or adapters?
OK 1 last silly question. If I get the BEFSR41, that is all I need to share dsl internet? Do I need to hook it up to the Mac or the PC? And should I assume that this is a wired set up? If yes is the answer to all these questions, then it all seems pretty simple, and I wish to thank you very much.
Will it be possible to use the LinkSys BEFW11S4? The description did not mention compatibity between Mac & Windows. I only ask because I have free access to a BEFW11S4 & a WUSB11 USB adapter?
Thanks
Mark
