XO might be able to stop the unknown CLID to the ANI of the trunk group (or a number you ask them). I've never looked at how to change the forwarded CLID as I considered it important info for the receiver. My solution was to change vendors to one who let me originat calls with any CLID -- a...
Just trying to get the name into the PBX.
Switching the coding from NI-2 to DMS100 (between asterisk and the PBX) fixed the issue. Not good though as I'd like to keep all the ports at NI-2.
I had an extension that changed to a different DN (4330 -> 2250, there wasn't a 2250). I went to Dest Codes and I can't add a 4330 Dest Code. I can only get to 433 - I lose the ANY option after the first 3.
Where can 4's hide in the system that I'm missing?
I've gone through every B2 on the...
With 'pri intense debug span' set in asterisk the log shows the carrier setting up like:

< Calling Number (len=14) [ Ext: 0 TON: National Number (2) NPI: ISDN/Telephony Numbering Plan (E.164/E.163) (1)

I'm set for NI-2 on both sides. I'm not so sure about the "obviously" as the 'pri intense debug span' on * says it's sending it.
Typically telcos send it after the call setup and not in the setup message. It seems like * is only sending it in the setup. This weekend I'll get a trace of an...
Hi, thanks for your reply.
I have in the first post a trace of what's on the PRI that's being sent to the MICS. Note the "Holy Moses" in the code block -- it's the name being sent with the ANI "6125551212" and then the DID 4322.
Yes, rolled T1 between the asterisk and norstar.
Name and ani going outbound (norstar -> asterisk) works well and as expected.
Under Telco Features the setting is for Name but the name never gets displayed. The number always shows up. For example setting 1stDisplay to the following values...
Here is a log excerpt of debug on a PRI (NI-2, both sides) during the call setup.

Thanks! The received digits is exactly what I need. I have a SMDR6 ordered. I rewrote the parser in the opensmdr package off the 'net back when we got the SMDR4 and the rewrite for this should be quick.
In thread799-846498 there is the question "4) Is it possible to track incoming calls to DID extensions." The answer presented by senk1s is "Yes." the thread then includes a log record that shows DNIS info. Then in thread799-875560 it also shows DNIS in the excerpt.
Is the DNIS in each of...
Ok, I'm back to this.
We've converted the service off VoIP onto ISDN into a DMS. Same problem. Telco says the MICS isn't putting the forwarded info into the "redirecting" field but, instead, presenting the originating caller's info.
Did I miss such an option in the documentation &...
If I understand the steps right, the procedure is:
1) shutdown the NAM
2) connect the CP/150
3) F983 to initialize the CP/150
4) Change the CP/150 to use the secondary set (F91*, F99*)
5) Reboot CP/150
6) Boot NAM
The end result is the NAM doing voicemail and the CP/150 doing call center...
Did this work? I need to add a CP for CC and keep the NAM for VM. Will there be issues with the Minuet on the NAM and the CP (150 Enhanced)? (The CC is to replace Minuet ACD.)
F-819 didn't help either. Yes, it's PRI.
I talked to a switchman at telco this morning. He says I have three options (because they can't bill off trunk group):
- send all 3 numbers (caller, originating ext and callee)
- originate the call from the extension
- send a "fowarding indicator" in...
I tried clearing the OLI with no change. I didn't try setting it to anything else though. Telco will use the first number out of the set if I leave it blank.
The KSU still uses the originating callers number on the outbound call though. The call just goes out as a DID.
Is it typical for...
