Niku didn't supply any useful training. You can contract them to come out and teach a Workbench class, but I found their instructors to be on the weak edge of OK. You'd be better off going to third party vendor- we know of two- PRC Consulting in Minneapolis and PPCG out of California I think...

You might look into what version of Java Virtual Machine you are running. This looks suspiciously like error messages we receive on Niku 5.2x when Sun JVM is used instead of Microsoft JVM. Niku 5.2x doesn't support Sun JVM, but they claimed this problem was corrected in Niku 6.0. Just an idea.
