    Dropped Frames Capturing Video!

I have experienced "dropped frames" sometimes when there is a part on the tape where I stopped recording, rewound it, played it past the part where I stopped recording, and then continued recording. In this case, the frames that were dropped were blank anyway. But for you, I would...

    Relocating the CG Cache folder

I think that every time you use Premiere and you render something, it saves information in this folder. If you move it, it won't be able to find a folder at all, so it will make a new one (I think.) You might check the settings to see if you can have this folder be created where you want it.

    File with negative (-) duration

Well, I've never seen this happen before, but I do know that a negative duration could mean that the clip is set to play in reverse. (I don't know how it got set like that, though....) Anyway, try right-clicking on the clip and go to "clip speed" or whatever it is. If there's a hypen...

Anyway, I just installed Premiere 6 and captured a few minutes of video from my camera. I can drag the playbar over the clip in the timeline, and it's silky smooth...

    How do I freeze frame?

First, put the playbar over the frame you want to freeze, and cut it using the Razor tool. Then go to File>Export Timeline>Frame, and pick a place to save the frame (also make sure your settings are same as your project settings, like the frame size, etc.). Then go to File>Import>File and pick...

    Need help choosing a motherboard...

I'm in the process of buying parts for a new computer, which I will be using primarily for Adobe Premiere 6, but I can't make up my mind about any specific motherboard. I will be getting a Pentium 4 2.4GHz, two Western Digital 80Gb 7200rpm 8Mb harddrives for striping, and I was hoping to use...
