    Thanks for the help bcastner. Can you explain step one for me a little more as i do not know how to register programs for example cd burning software. Is the registration conpleted in the app itself or in windows.

    In windows sometimes the screen goes black and the monitor signal goes then reappears after a bout 1-2 seconds, some times closing the app / game. Geforce 2 GTS Pro, Athlon xp 2000+, Abit KT333 mother board, 512 266 DDR (running a 2CL but is in fact 2.5CL) I hope one of you out there can help...
