Muthabored, I had to flatten the machine, and re-install both Windows 2ooo Professional, and the MS Office 2000 Suite, both image viewers are installed through both of these installation, it just seems odd that they both, and the operating system...

    When I try to open jpg format pictures I get a message stating that this is an unknown file extension, even though Microsoft Picture Editor opens it cannot read the format to open the picture. Anybody have an idea what is going on?, and what is the fix or solution to this problem. Thanx
