Yes I have, and I still end up with no sound. That's why I don't really think it's a driver issue. It seems that I just need to find out how to get it to enable the onboard audio in bios but I can't find a method of doing that anywhere. I've been searching the web for hours with no luck.

Well, this is a good link for the drivers but when I try to run the setup for the 6863b one it tells me that AC 97 is not enabled and must be enabled in the BIOS. I can only turn it to disabled or auto in my BIOS and as far as I can tell, auto should work, but apparently it doesn't. Any more help?
