Were are also trying out that approach but it seems a DSL connection is not the proper medium for that. Were having replication timeout errors. Whats the minimum line connection type for replication to work. Is there a way to configure SQL 2000 to make it work on a DSL line?

The workstation is on win9x,the server is win2k. I have a dialog box that ask for user name,password,and domain name. Can i authenticate the user entries to a win2k server? The logonuser api works if the workstation is win2k or an nt workstation but doesnt in a win9x.
