    Does anyone know of a way to remove files from the flash and pcmcia on the standby SF? I know you can use the copy command and save command to the standby card but can you use the remove command and specify peer: etc... ?

    Autonegotiation on Nortel Passport 8600 gig port

    I have found over the years that I just don't use auto-negotiate. It just doesn't work consistently. Hard code it and you'll be much better off.

    We use static routes and have not enabled any routing engines on the 8610's. Is this why I do not see a complete ARP table when doing a "sh ip arp info"?

    Does anyone know what the golden rule for VRRP advertisements should be? I believe the default is 1 second. The value us called AdvertisementInterval.
