Finally got my problem resolved. In addition to opening port 6666 on my router (HTTP Service from the drop-down menu), I also had to add another service (webserv) and forward port 80. I can now access my webserver from the internet.- Sol8Darity

Yes, I do. From the Advanced-->"Port Forwarding" menu, I set the HTTP service to 6666 at bogus' IP. So far, no dice...- Sol8Darity
