    how to do i connect to a share that is on a address of 192.168.5.x when my ip is 192.168.1.x.. i know i have to use some sort of subnet but since i'm in a class c ip address will setting the subnet mask to say 255.255.0.0 help? thanks

    i'm not sure but i noticed that your subnet mask is 255.255.255.0 if you open it up to 255.255.0.0 will that help? tmbtech
