TNS Listener errors on XP Pro...
I am having trouble installing 9i rel 2 on Windows XP professional. As soon as the install gets to the TNSLSNR part, windows comes up with the classic "DON'T SEND" option error (I hate that). Anyway, I have talked with Oracle support, and they can't seem to find a solution. Any...- ttrainor

SQl Server 6.5 and XP pro?
Actually, I was asking if it were possible. I know it's possible on NT Workstation and 2000 Pro: out of necessity, in order to kick off development while my client(s) were in the process of buying a server, I've run SQL Server 6.x on both of those environments. SQl Server 6.5 and XP pro?
Is is possible to run an instance of SQL Server 6.5 on XP Professional? My other option is to partition the disk and install NT 4.0 with BackOffice 4.0. Thanks- ttrainor
