Passing data as DTMF between two PBX

How do we pass the number to a VDN in the second switch? We are using Conversant VRU. Should the VRU1 include the number in the transfer string? ex. 1234599990 where 12345 is VDN and 99990 is number to pass. Could you please explain what "forget the first VRU" mean in ur reply...

Passing data as DTMF between two PBX

Could anyone please tell how we can implement the following: 1) Caller dials 800# to reach VRU1. This VRU1 gets the 5-digit ID from the caller. 2) Then transfer the call to VRU2 (different location) along with the 5-digit ID as DTMF. We have Definity 3Gr and AT&T ISDN PRI. Thanks in advance,

    Transfer delay using Conversant/Definity

RTMCKEE, thanks for the response. Actual transfer time is 3-4 sec (not 7 secs). The extra delay was due the sleep put in the switch. Actually, the IVR took 3-4 sec to finish the transfer. How must time normally will IVR take to transfer a call ? Thanks,

    Transfer delay using Conversant/Definity

We are using Conversant VRU behind a Definity switch. The blind tranafer call from VRU is taking 7-8 sec approx. Per our switch guys, we need to dial a 4-digit code before the outbound VDN. example: To trasfer to 12345, VRU needs to dial xxxx12345. VRU needs to dial this code only if the switch...
