    Blurry Monitor screen

    My monitor (19" crt) has suddenly (overnight) become very blurry. The edges are relatively sharp, but the center of the screen is quite blurry - barely legible. It also seems to randomly slightly expand and contract a little. Should I try to have this fixed, or is it time for a new one.

    Hot-wiring a power supply

    Does anyone know how to make a power supply provide voltage while it is not connected to a motherboard? I have a couple old ones and would like to use one to power a 12 volt car stereo in my room. I have an ATX type with one connector and also a pre-ATX with two connectors. Thanks

    I already updated the bios, and I have tried both sticks solo with similar stability. Thanks, any other thoughts?

    I just assembled a new system, and it seems to randomly reboot itself without warning. I installed two 512mb of ram. Removing one of the cartridges seems to correct the problem. The mobo spec says it can handle up to 3 gigs. Is there something else that could be making it so unstable? I would...
