    POP3 & Exchange

That's it - nothing has changed. At least nothing that I know of. No service packs, MS Office still on Office 2000 w/Outlook 2000, no new apps. Very mind boggling. I have read on some other forums that it can just stop working - which makes no logical sense.

    POP3 & Exchange

We have a setup where we have the POP3 accounts on the workstations along with Exchange accounts (just using exchange for in house email). POP3 set as the default - so bringing/sending external email directly from the users computer. All worked great for more than a year. POP3 email still comes...

    Port Forwarding in ISA

I am using ISA 2006 on MS SBS 2003 w/two NICS. Internet and email are working. I need to port forward to an internal IP address - si I need to send port 3389 to internal 192.168.0.10 workstation. I have attempted to set that up in ISA to no avail. Also, I need to open up port 22 incoming &...

I would also like to implement (outside of the normal login) and login when one attempts to gain internet access - so if they are alread logged into the domain - I don't want someone else to walk up to the logged in...

    SBS 2003 & DNS & DHCP Issues

Ok, I got my service records restored. I have recreated the reverse lookup, but I still get the following from all workstations and even from the server itself - any ideas? SBS2003 is the name of my server. SBS is the name of the domain. Just fyi - I think I had a typo earlier. c:\>nslookup...

    SBS 2003 & DNS & DHCP Issues

I created the host file on each workstation like 192.168.1.1 sbs2003 (not the .local) sorry for the typo. I am still missing entries that I had before I deleted the dns. What are the actual steps using the DNS wizard to properly set up a new DNS config. I thought this would be easy - but no...

    SBS 2003 & DNS & DHCP Issues

Ok, I made some changes in the DNS on the server. Here is what I get after the changes when doing a NSlookup to the server (SBS2003)from a workstation - It is worth mentioning that when I run the same command from the server nslookup sbs2003 - I get the same message as on the workstation...

    SBS 2003 & DNS & DHCP Issues

the 192.168.1.1 - LAN Side NIC of the server. It doesn't matter if I put in static IP addresses & DNS - without the host file entry - it will not resolve to the name of the server - once the host entry is added - all is well - but this is only a temp fix. I don't have ISA running at all - so I...

    SBS 2003 & DNS & DHCP Issues

Ok, got the DHCP to delve out IP addresses to client computers - the binding was set to the WAN NIC instead of the LAN NIC. But I still have the problem with I guess the DNS. Without an entry in the host file on each workstation, it will not resolve the server's name. But the internet all works...

Any search engine gives results for UK

Yes, I contacted the ISP (USLEC) and they deny that there is anything they could/can do. They state that it is with how the search engines subscribe to a service that translates location information based on IP addresses alone. Hmm - but no one can tell me where or who all these search engines...
