I have a file copy of my old Legato installation on a disk, and I want to save it to tape. Just in case that I gonna need it some day. But when I back it up with Legato 7.0 it wont take
the files in the old "mm" directory and not the old "index" files. Why...

I already tried that and I've run NSLookup and ping the domain alias and nothing seems to fail. My hair is turning gray. For me it looks like the license doesn't work. It is the same machine with the same name, ip, nic, and mac. Only the OS i changed.

When I backup our servers that running Open VMS I have sometimes one or to disks that delivers data really slow. About 7 mb /hour.
I have seen this on several of our VMS servers. It gives me a lot of trubble.

It works fine with system state. The other servers with "registry" was older versions of NW.
Now I have:

Is this enough for making a system backup/recovery?
