Instead, try to test the serial port in HyperTerminal with a loopback. That way you will know if you have the correct serial port settings.
Make sure that you can use the modem to dial out via HyperTerminal. Also, can you run a query on the modem via the Control Panel? Until those work, NRU won't. Make sure that you match the COM port setting in NRU that shows up in the query.

You found your answer. The Pool is set to insert the extra 9, not uncommon. That set that needs two 9s is not set to have Pool Access, or so it sounds. Make sure that all of the sets have access to the appropriate Pools. Then look at the Prime Line settings. Perhaps they should be set to Prime...
No, there is a local client on the Windoze machine that gets the messages from Call Pilot. It can co-reside with Outlook on a PC that talks to an Exchange server. I don't know how to work it on a MAC. If someone else knows more, go for it. I'm willing to learn too.
