I am embarrased to admit that I cannot remember how to restore (reinstall) notepad on a Win98 PC. It was damaged by the KLEZ virus infection, which is now cleaned. However, anytime I try to open an email attachment which calls for Notepad i get an error message.
Any help available?
Shaun: I have had the problem before, with little or no success at discovering the problem in my system. However, I did find a freeware utility "ShutDownPro" that usually overcomes the problem.
