Recently, I had reason to import messages from Outlook to Outlook Express. No problem. But now I want to go back, so I used Expresse's export program, but on opening Outlook, nothing new was there. What am I doing wrong?

I have 2 cd drives on my hp system running win98se. My Yamaha cd-r tray is opening and/or closing without warning or my command and its driving me nuts.

If I remove the device from my system, will win98se refind it again?
Would re-installing windoze help?

Thanks. I copied the whole hd onto the new one hoping there was a way to get that kind of info back without having to export and import folders one by one. Can I do that?
