    BIOS Flashing

    There is a way to use your 80gb hard disk without flashing your BIOS, you will need to download a software from your drive manufacturer's web site. For Seagate, you need DiscWizard, for Maxtor, MaxBlast. I'm pretty sure the other drive manufacturers will have similar software on their web site...

    cannot get into Bios due to password -dont remember it

    Go to this site and download WipeCMOS to clear your bios password and settings. Make sure you have a boot disk coz you have to run this tiny program in real DOS mode. http://geocities.com/sjwoolham/ Hope this helps.

    My two year old Pioneer DVD-A05S Drive was able to play DVD movies until last week. Now, all I can play are audio cds and vcd movies.
