bios losing hard drive setting
thanks for the info mooreman it makes sense that if it is booting up to quick that it might not see the drive. It is a p4vmm2 board running A p4 1.7 cpu. On the second restart after detecting the drive in the bios it does start up everytime. There has never been an indication that there is a...- pavmm2

bios losing hard drive setting
I have a 2 week old esc p4vmm2 board with a new 30 gig maxtor on the pri-master and a cdrom on the sec-master. it works fine except every couple of boot ups it won't boot unless you go in the bios and reset the hard drive setting because it says it isn't installed. Yet the cdrom is still set...- pavmm2
