MSIMN has caused an error in MSOE.DLL

I tried rebuilding the folders.dbx file, as you suggested, but it didn't help. I also tried repairing and reinstalling IE6/Outlook, but neither of those strategies worked either. I'm now contemplating using the "restore original windows configuration" option. What do you think? TIA

MSIMN has caused an error in MSOE.DLL

I'm running Windows ME. Whenever I try to access my inbox in MS Outlook Express (MSOE), it crashes and gives the me the error message above. I've gone through the MSOE help wizard to no avail and I can't find any help in the MS Knowledge Base or anywhere else I've tried. Any suggestions? TIA.
