Onboard Promise RAID - Can't configure
I did try changing the boot order. That didn't help, but I found another BIOS setting that I had missed earlier. I had to switch the mode of the onboard RAID from ATA to RAID. Once I did that, it all worked as I expected. It would have been helpful if they had mentioned this little detail in...- steingo

Onboard Promise RAID - Can't configure
I am setting up a system using a Gigabyte KT400 board with onboard RAID controller. I have 2 WD800 drives connected to IDE 3/4 (the RAID Connectors). I have used the Promise cards in the past, so figured I could handle the setup, but... When I boot the system, I get a message from the Promise...- steingo
