    just a thought but do you have stuffit expander running on your comp. i had a major problem with this horrible program locking up my comp and when i eventually figured it out i could`nt uninstall it.i had to manually uninstall it by deleting it and run regcleaner http://tinyurl.com/3fem2...

    Driver problem Win 2K pro

    you might try this. go to start/programs/administrative tools/services.scroll down to smart card and smart card helper. double click and in the startup type change to automatic.hope this helps.let me know if it does.

    All my CD burning/ripping programs cannot read the CD-RW Device.
