Norton was the problem. Zone Alarm works fine. This is on a Toshiba laptop which also gave me a problem when I loaded Roxio EZ CD Creator. It stopped seeing the CD burner at that time. Had to do a system restore. Same thing with MS Streets & Trips 2005.
